Is It Still Worth It George W?

As of today, October 6, 2006, in the Iraq war, the Iraqi civilian body count is between 43,000 and 48,000.

The total US troops lost = 2,737.

2,973= confirmed deaths from 9-11 World Trade Center bombings in 2001.

I am not a huge Bush fan, but you won't find me marching in any protests either. There comes a time in any situation where you must step back and look at the big picture. What is going on here in America? What is going on in Iraq? Does anyone know anymore?

If you look at the numbers here, Saddam Hussein is not looking like the bad guy anymore, because he is not holding the strings. Bush is. And Bush needs to figure out how to get us out of this mess without creating anymore damage. So, when Bush leaves office, what's next? Who is going to clean this up, Hillary? Doubt it. Why can't Colin Powell run for office? I know he doesn't want to put his family through the meat grinder, but what about his country? I can't look at any of the possible candidates for the next election and see a front runner that seems like a noble leader. John McCain? Sort of scary. Gore? Certainly not. Who the heck is going to save the United States?

God help AMERICA!!
